This course offers small class size instruction that builds on the fundamentals of hand building, and open work time. We cover in depth hand building techniques, alternative forms, finishing, and glazing pieces to completion. Non-refundable, non-transferable.

Ages: 16 and up

General Class Format

Runs every Wednesday from 6-8:30pm for 8 weeks (7.1.26 - 8.19.26)

Total Class Time: 2.5 hrs per session

First 30-45 min — Instruction on hand building techniques, alternative forms, alternation, and glazing. Each week varies on subject matter.

Last 1.5-2 hrs — Work time

Make as many pieces as you like with the clay provided (Additional clay available for purchase)

Take home as many pieces as made with clay provided

Up to 12 hours additional open studio time during the 8 weeks for make up time or bonus studio work, during select hours*
